Dr. Rhonia Gordon, MD
Dr. Rhonia Gordon, MD is a board-certified OB/GYN. She is passionate about women’s health, reproductive justice and health equity. She was drawn to the field of obstetrics because she truly enjoys building lifelong connections with patients during pregnancy and birth. As a mother of two boys, Dr. Gordon understands on a personal level how important it is to have a memorable, autonomous pregnancy. Her goal is to empower her patients by providing them with educational resources, explaining all of their treatment options—both surgical and nonsurgical—and talking about their preferences for pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Dr. Gordon is most excited about Oula’s collaborative approach to patient care, and the opportunity to work alongside midwives, nurses, and other doctors to improve patient outcomes including safety and satisfaction. She prides herself on being a fierce patient advocate and believes that every pregnant person deserves a team approach to meet their varying needs.
Throughout her medical tenure, Dr. Gordon has delivered over 2000 babies. She completed medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and subsequent training at North Shore Hospital, Long Island Jewish Hospital, and most recently, NYU Langone. She also served as an Associate Clinical Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine Tisch Hospital.
