Ithamar Turenne, RN is a Registered Nurse with over a decade of providing compassionate care in inpatient and outpatient settings. She joined Oula because of its mission to support each family beyond the first three trimesters, into the postpartum period. She is committed to creating spaces that provide comfort and healing and sees each patient encounter as a fresh slate to build trust, hold space for emotions, and firmly advocate in moments they feel most vulnerable.

As a nurse, Ithamar is a liaison between the patient and Oula’s provicers to ensure that the personalized care they are receiving is safe, trauma-informed, culturally-informed, and respectful of their belief systems.

Prior to Oula, Ithamar was at New York Presbytarian Lower Manhattan Hospital focusing on postpartum and newborncare. She completed her M.S. in Nursing from Columbia University and holds a B.S. in Biology from Syracuse University.
