Laura Good is a Certified Nurse Midwife driven by a profound belief in the importance of supporting new parents through the pivotal moments of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. With a passion for challenging the status quo in obstetric care, Laura is dedicated to providing education, shared decision-making, and individualized, family-centered care.

Her commitment to the field is rooted in a deeply personal experience: as a high school student, Laura had the rare opportunity to witness her sister’s birth. This transformative moment ignited her dream of becoming a midwife.

Prior to joining Oula, Laura received her MSN in Midwifery at NYU, worked as a midwife at a private practice in Brooklyn, and as a neurosurgical research nurse at Columbia University Medical Center. She lives in Ridgewood, Queens, with her husband and 4-year-old daughter, June.
