Lucia Roderique (she/they) is a Certified Nurse Midwife who is passionate about providing trauma-informed, patient-centered care through a Reproductive Justice framework. She was called to midwifery through her work as a doula.

Prior to joining Oula, Lucia spent three years practicing full-scope midwifery in the Twin Cities, caring for patients across pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and gynecologic care. She is particularly committed to creating affirming and equitable care for Black, Indigenous, and people of color and LGBTQIA2S+ communities, helping patients feel informed and supported throughout their reproductive lives.

Lucia received both her BSN and MSN from Emory University, where she was recognized with the Excellence in Social Responsibility distinction for her work in the community and commitment to health and social justice. Before beginning her career in healthcare, Lucia spent 10 years as a musical theater actress.
