Yenniffer Taylor, LM, CM
Yenniffer Taylor is a Certified Midwife who brings a deep commitment to accessible, equitable maternity care. Born in Colombia and raised in Queens, her path to midwifery began during a medical sociology class in college, where she discovered how midwives play a vital role in improving maternal and neonatal health worldwide.
Her approach to care is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves a respectful birth experience where they feel supported, heard, and safe. Her practice is guided by a deep trust in birthing people, always ensuring their voices and choices are centered in their care. Yenniffer is passionate about making the midwifery model of care accessible to all birthing people, with a particular focus on serving marginalized communities.
After earning her BS in Sociology from CUNY Hunter College, Yenniffer pursued her MS in Midwifery from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Prior to joining Oula, she worked as a full-scope midwife at North Central Bronx Hospital and attended births across various settings, including homes and birth centers in New Jersey.
