“Connecting with patients and their families is key to eliminating the fear and distrust that is common in pregnancy and birth today.”
Get Started with Oula

Coralie (Cory) Macqueen is a Certified Nurse Midwife. She loves working with pregnant people, and is excited to be a part of Oula’s mission to improve maternity care for all. For Cory, one of the most important parts of being a midwife is building a connection with her patients and their families in order to lay a foundation of trust. She deeply believes in empowering people to make decisions about their own body and supporting the family unit as a whole, however they define it.

As a midwife, Cory has welcomed over 1000 babies into this world. She continues to be amazed by the power of pregnant people, even after over 20 years of experience in the birth world. She worked as a nurse at the Roosevelt Hospital (now Mt. Sinai West) Birth Center before joining a private collaborative faculty practice in New York as the lead midwife. She has worked in hospital, birth center, and homebirth settings. Cory earned her B.S. in Nursing from University of Victoria in British Columbia, and her M.S. in Nurse Midwifery from New York University.
